Day 1: Fes - Ifrane - Midelt - Ziz Valley - Erfoud - Merzouga

After having breakfast in your hotel/Riad, your private driver will pick you up for a rewarding desert tour ending in Marrakech. You’ll begin with a drive through the lush and UNESCO listed cedar forest while including a short break in the beautiful city of Ifrane. The architecture of the city has a European aspect to the extent that Ifrane has been often called the pseudo-Switzerland version city of Morocco. After that, we will include another stop to watch the endangered Barbary Apes with the possibility to feed them.
After lunch, which will take place either in Zaida or Midelt, you’ll cross the spectacular High Atlas Mountains, then enjoy the stunning view of the Ziz Valley before reaching the Sahara Desert of Erg Chebbi in the late afternoon. Now, it’s take to have a camel ride experience atop the golden sand dunes where you can enjoy the miraculous view of the sunset. Later, you’ll have a delicious meal for dinner within the tented restaurant or under the stars.

Early wake up in the morning, climb the sand dune and enjoy the stunning view of the sunrise. Later, you’ll have a refreshing breakfast under the sunlight, take a shower and continue on the track west. You’ll include a short break in the city of Erfoud where you can learn about the different varieties of dates, then visit the fossils’ factory before driving through the palm-dotted center of Tinejdad to the Todra Gorges. The Gorge (Canyon) is a popular attraction in the region being an escape from the hot weather because of the cooler climate it offers. You can stretch your legs while enjoying the nice views.
After lunch, you’ll drive further west to the panoramic valley of Dades where you’ll spend the night.
Day 3: Dades Valley - Ouarzazate - Ait Benhaddou - Marrakech

After having breakfast, you’ll drive to Marrakech through the lush Valley of Roses, Ouarzazate (Hollywood of Africa) with the possibility to include a visit to the Atlas Film Studios. Continue to the Ait Benhaddou Village, listed by the UNESCO as a World Heritage site since 1987. It consists of numerous Kasbahs (fortresses), which is a striking model of architecture in the southern part of Morocco to the extent that it has been used as a backdrop for shooting Hollywood Movies including Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, Prince of Persia…After lunch, you’ll drive through the spectacular High Atlas Mountains crossing the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Arrive to Marrakech in the evening.
As always, once we arrive in Marrakech we will make sure to drop you off in the nearest location to your accommodation; however, if your Riad is in the very heart of the Medina, which is inaccessible by car, we will have you covered as we will arrange with the staff members of the Riad you are staying in to meet up with us in a designated point so that you they can escort you to your accommodation hassle-free…s
