We could sometimes arrange to meet up with you by the Blue Gate “Bab Boujloud” in Batha district if the Riad you are staying in is not providing an accurate address.

Itinerary

Day 1: Fes - Ifrane - Ziz Valley - Erfoud - Merzouga Desert

After having breakfast in your Riad/Hotel in Fes, your private driver/guide will pick you up for the 2 days desert trip. You’ll escape the hassle of the vibrant Fez Medina while going through a unique experience in the Sahara Desert. You’ll have a nice drive through the lush Middle Atlas Mountains with its UNESCO listed cedar forests. You’ll have a short break for chilling out in the beautiful city of Ifrane, it was nominated as the 2nd cleanest city in the world in 2015.

The cedar forests of the Middle Atlas host a colony of the endangered Barbary Apes, which you can spot or even feed. After lunch, which will take place in Midelt, you’ll continue on the track with a nice drive through the Ziz Gorge (Canyon) offering stunning views before reaching the Sahara Desert through Erfoud. Have a camel ride experience for the sunset view before getting back to the desert camp where you’ll have a delicious dinner served in the desert camp’s restaurant or under the stars followed by a time of entertainment. You may want, later, to climb the sand dune to watch the stars and enjoy the views.

Day 2: Merzouga Desert - Midelt - Fes

Early wake up in the morning, climb up the sand dune to enjoy the splendid view of the sunrise. Have a refreshing breakfast under the sunlight, take a shower and head back to Fes through Midelt, Ifrane. You’ll include numerous breaks for you to chill out, have lunch or even use the bathroom. 

As always, once we arrive in Fez we will make sure to drop you off in the nearest location to your accommodation; however, if your Riad is in the very heart of the Medina, which is inaccessible by car, we will have you covered as we will arrange with the staff members of the Riad you are staying in to meet up with us in a designated point so that you they can escort you to your accommodation hassle-free…
